This week, a small group of innovation-minded Achievers traveled to to participate in their International Entrepreneurship Week events!

The week kicked off with a powerful and inspirational message by Dr. Roszalyn Akins who shared her journey of social entrepreneurship as the founder of the .

On the second night we observed the College of Business “Shark Tank” style pitch contest, and our Achievers were able to see recent Alumni Jiya Alcorn present her business .a.bcompany, and come in second place! Keep up the great work!!

The final night our Achievers had the opportunity to hear from two amazing entrepreneurs Cassandra D. Harris-Gray and John Howard Shaw-Woo about their unique and inspiring journeys. Thank you both for taking time to pour into our students following your talks!

We appreciate the invitation to visit K-State this week, and want to send a special thank you to DrTamara Bowles and the staff of the College of Business!
