Pastors pour so much into caring for their congregations, sharing God’s Word, and pointing people to Jesus. Let’s take a moment to encourage them and remind them how much their ministry matters. 🙏

On this day in 1873, Lottie Moon arrived in China, beginning a life of faithful service that would impact generations of missionaries and believers. 💙

She spent nearly 40 years serving among the Chinese people, teaching, discipling, sharing the gospel, and calling Southern Baptists to take the Great Commission seriously.

Her story reminds us that one surrendered life can make a lasting impact for the gospel.

May we follow her example by faithfully living on mission wherever God has placed us. 🌎

🇮🇹October WMU Curriculum: Rome, Italy!🇮🇹

This month, we’re heading to Rome, Italy, to learn how missionaries are sharing the gospel in a culture deeply shaped by Roman Catholicism.

For many Italians, faith traditions are woven into everyday life and culture. That makes it especially important for missionaries to build relationships and help people understand the good news that salvation comes through faith in Christ alone, not through our good works. ✝️

The Davises are doing just that by opening their home for meals and Bible studies, investing in children and youth, serving alongside their local church, and meeting practical needs in their community.

🍝 Come learn about Italy, its people, and how God is using missionaries to share the hope of Christ through relationships, hospitality, and everyday ministry.

📖 Dive into this month’s WMU curriculum and pray for the people of Rome!

💚 KentuckyWMU was honored to be at the KBC Bivocational Pastors & Wives Retreat!

We had the joy of serving Eliza’s Cafe and connecting with bivocational pastors and their wives throughout the retreat.

We also had a table where we shared about the Eliza Broadus Offering to help churches learn how to get their offering materials as they prepare to Pray. Give. Go. and Fill the Gap across Kentucky. 🙏💙

We’re grateful for every opportunity to connect, encourage, serve, and help churches live on mission!

🎂💚 Happy Birthday, Eliza Broadus!

Today we celebrate the life and legacy of Eliza Broadus, a Kentucky woman whose passion for missions helped shape generations of Kentucky Baptists.

Eliza believed deeply in the power of prayer, giving, and sending missionaries to share the gospel. Her legacy continues today through the Eliza Broadus Offering for State Missions, helping Kentucky Baptists reach communities across our state with the hope of Christ. 🌎

More than a century later, her example still reminds us that one life faithfully surrendered to God can make an eternal impact.

Today, we celebrate Eliza by continuing the work she loved: praying, giving, going, and sharing the gospel. 💙
