GHC's club application form for high school students is now open. Learn exactly what you need to submit your proposal before the August 30 deadline.

Starting a new group on campus requires careful planning. This guide outlines the essential steps for students who want to start a school club. We cover the specific requirements, including securing a faculty advisor and recruiting at least four members to fill necessary student organization roles. Understanding these prerequisites is vital to ensuring your application is complete and ready for review.

To be eligible for approval, your submission must be finalized by Sunday, August 30, at 8 p.m. Use this walkthrough to organize your team and prepare your documentation before the window closes. If you are ready to launch your student club application, follow the guidelines provided to avoid common errors.

With extreme heat in the forecast this week, please help us keep our classrooms and learning spaces as cool and comfortable as possible.

- Keep all classroom and learning space doors closed to help maintain the temperature.

- The gym will be open during nutrition and lunch to provide students with an additional indoor, air-conditioned space.

- Please encourage students to stay hydrated throughout the day.

We thank our entire GHC community, students, families, and staff, for your support and cooperation as we work to keep our students and staff safe and comfortable during changing weather events.

Our teachers, students, and families are looking forward to reconnecting with their school community.

“Back-to-School Night is a great opportunity to see the school community come together. It’s exciting to see the clubs, students, and activities around campus, and it really gives everyone a chance to start the year with school spirit,” said GHC student Carlos Camacho.

Devonshire Campus Back-to-School Nights
August 26: Middle School, Grades 6-8
August 27: Elementary School, Grades TK-5

Zelzah Campus Back-to-School Night
September 10: High School, Grades 9-12

“Back-to-School Night is always so nice, and I love the community out on the quad supporting student clubs,” said Mrs. Arhanian, a staff member on the High School Campus.

Students in GHC's TK-8 program will have a Minimum Day on Friday, August 28, and high school program students will have a Minimum Day on Friday, September 11.

During Back-to-School Night events, both GHC campuses will feature student clubs, fundraising opportunities, and an open student store where families and students can purchase spirit wear, P.E. clothes, and other school items.
