There is a lot that needs to be done on the ranch, but we always make time for morning prayer. A time when all our young men gather together and lift their voices to the Lord.

We want to instill skills into our boys, but more importantly, we want them to leave us having formed a lasting relationship with Jesus.

47 years ago, Jim and Lovella Yohe turned 40 acres in Southeast Louisiana into a home for boys who needed one most. Since 1979, more than 1,000 young men have called Lighthouse Ranch home.

Their legacy lives on in every boy who walks through our doors today.

"Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world." 1 John 4:4, Bro. Yohe's life verse.

This Month, our boys experienced a powerful lesson on forgiveness.

They took turns carrying a full bucket of water and then an empty one. The difference was clear. One was heavy, difficult, and messy. The other was light and manageable.

They learned that holding onto anger and unforgiveness weighs us down in the same way. Letting go does not just free others, it frees us too.

At the Ranch, we are not only teaching skills but helping shape hearts and minds for a better future. 🙏
