It is our mission to alleviate hunger and make an eternal impact by sharing kindness and compassion with everyone who is in need. Our Daily Bread Food Bank is a highly successful food bank that distributes food throughout communities in Tangipahoa Parish. Since its founding in 1999, Our Daily Bread is a ministry that has worked with local churches, private businesses, community members and United Way to serve those in need within our parish.

Currently, Our Daily Bread supports 22 local pantries - which are scattered throughout the parish. These pantries are smaller entities that distribute food to those in need within their specific community. Approximately 30,000 food boxes are given away in a typical year - which is valued at an estimated $1.99 million.

Through two sites located in the southern and northern portion of the parish, we also distribute hot meals to residents three times per week. In a typical year, we distribute about 28,000 hot meals to those in need.
