Good morning,
First, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our Placer County Sheriff's Office, school Placer Union High School District administration, teachers, and staff for the care, leadership, and protection shown during yesterday’s situation. Your presence and commitment to our students means more than words can express.
Our hearts remain with every student, family, and educator processing what took place, and especially with the family at Natomas High School. No child should ever feel unsafe at school, and we must continue to come together as a community to support one another through these moments.
At Shine With Purpose, we are committed to being part of the change providing resources, creating unity, and offering a safe space where families and kids can come together, be heard, and begin to heal. These conversations matter, and no one should walk through them alone.
This is why events like our Strides for Strength 5K/10K Mental Health Awareness Relay are so important. It is more than a run it is a movement to bring our community together, raise awareness, and remind every individual that they matter and are never alone.
Let’s continue to check in, show up, and stand together.
With gratitude and hope,
Shine With Purpose 🤍
