Cover crops can help build soil health, recycle nutrients, and control weeds in your garden. We are offering two types of cover crops this year: cereal rye and an oat/radish mix. The oat/radish mix grows quickly and dies in the winter, while cereal rye is established late into fall and grows in the spring.

Stop by our office (217 Elm St, London), or the libraries in London, West Jeff, and Mt. Sterling to pick up a bag of free cover crop seeds!

Hopefully your garden is exploding with produce at this point in the season! It can be overwhelming to have a kitchen full of produce that won’t last forever, but it all doesn’t have to be eaten now. Many fresh items will last a while when stored appropriately, and any you can’t consume fresh may be preserved by canning, freezing, or drying.
