The Bills showed what TEAMWORK is all about this week! Every player stepped up, worked together, and battled from start to finish against the Bengals. 🏈💪

It came down to the wire, with the Bills coming up just short 14–12, but the score doesn’t tell the whole story. This team fought together until the final whistle! 🔵🔴⚪️

👏 Way to battle, Bills! Keep working, keep growing, and keep playing for each other!

‼️Reminder to All Guests, Coaches, Parents & Spectators‼️

London City Schools maintains a strict to***co-free and smoke-free policy on all district property and grounds, including Von Kanel Field. This policy includes ci******es, va**ng, and smokeless to***co.

Unfortunately, coaches and volunteers have been left to clean up cigarette butts and containers/bottles containing to***co spit. This is unsanitary, disrespectful to our facilities, and unfair to the volunteers who are already giving their time to provide a clean and safe environment for our kids.

If you need to smoke, v**e, or use smokeless to***co, please exit the facility completely and properly dispose of all waste before returning. Anyone observed ignoring this policy will be asked to leave the property.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation in respecting school policy, our facilities, our volunteers, and most importantly, the space our kids use to play and cheer.

In a hard fought matchup against the Saints, the Chiefs kept battling, made big plays when it mattered, and came out on top with a 24–18 VICTORY! 🔥

A Reminder About Our Volunteers ❤️🖤

We need to take a moment to remind everyone of something that can sometimes get lost in the stress and emotions of youth sports:

The people volunteering their time to this program are just that, volunteers.

We are not here because we are getting paid. We are here because we care about these kids and this program.

Our coaches, board members, team parents, concession workers, event volunteers, and everyone working behind the scenes are giving countless hours of their personal time to make this season possible. We leave our own families, rearrange work schedules, miss dinners, give up evenings and weekends, answer messages at all hours, solve problems, organize events, and handle countless things most people never see.

We understand that parents will have questions and concerns. We understand that emotions can run high when it comes to our children. But being frustrated does not give anyone permission to be disrespectful, demanding, or unkind to the people who are donating their time.

You may not always agree with every decision. Things may not always go perfectly. Mistakes will happen. But please remember that the person on the other side of your frustration is another parent, another community member, and another human being who chose to step up and help.

Without volunteers, there is no youth sports program. There are no coaches. No concessions. No events. No organized practices or game-day operations. No one behind the scenes making sure our kids have the opportunity to play, cheer, compete, learn, and make memories.

We don't expect recognition or praise. But we do expect basic respect.

Before sending an angry message, making a disrespectful comment, speaking poorly about the person coaching your child, or taking your frustration out on a volunteer, please remember why we're all here.

For the kids.

We are ALWAYS looking for more volunteers and parent engagement. Please ask us how you can get involved, especially if there are things you believe you can bring to the program outside of what their coaches are already providing. We want the kids to have every opportunity available.♥️

Let's show them what teamwork, appreciation, respect, and community are supposed to look like, not only on the field or sidelines, but in the way we treat the people standing beside us. ❤️🖤

🦅 THE EAGLES 🦅

The Eagles came ready to play in Week 1! ❤️🏈

From start to finish, these athletes worked together as a team, played hard, and came away with an 18-0 victory over the Bills!

It was a great team effort on both sides of the ball and an awesome way to kick off the season!

One of our favorite parts of our Sub Sale wasn’t just seeing how many subs we could make, it was getting the opportunity to give back to the community that continues to show up for our kids. ❤️🤍

Thanks to the incredible support of our families and community, we had extra subs after completing our orders. Instead of letting them go to waste, some of our LYFCA athletes got to help deliver them to local law enforcement, firefighters, and some of the amazing sponsors who support our program. 🥪🏈📣

We want our athletes to know that being a Raider is about so much more than what happens on the football field or cheer sidelines. It’s about community, gratitude, and showing appreciation to the people who support you.

To our first responders, thank you for everything you do to keep our community safe. 🚓🚒

To our sponsors, thank you for investing in our kids and helping make this season possible.

And to everyone who purchased subs, volunteered, donated, shared our fundraiser, or supported LYFCA in any way, YOU helped make moments like these possible.
