We accept applicants from OH, PA, NY, NJ, WV, and MD. Miss Keystone State Rodeo hosts a yearly pageant where a panel of qualified judges selects titleholders to serve as promoters for the sport of professional rodeo, the western way of life, and agriculture. The young ladies serve as role models for the younger generation. Titleholders have the opportu

nity throughout their year of reign to build self-confidence, enhance public speaking skills, network with other people in the industry, make appearances at famous rodeos, and gain leadership skills to be prepared for the future.

Carrying the Red, White and Blue on the back of a horse is so much more than simply riding into an arena with a flag in hand. It’s a reminder of the freedom, sacrifices and pride that make this country whole. 🇺🇸

Every time I have the honor to carry Old Glory, I’m reminded of the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed so much for the freedoms we get to enjoy daily.

There truly is no better feeling than entering an arena with a roaring crowd and the American flag flying alongside you. It will forever be one of the greatest honors I have as your Miss Teen Keystone State Rodeo 👑

I spent last night with Bullride Mania at the Crawford County Fairgrounds! I had the honor to carry the American flag and lead grand entry, showcasing all of the talented cowgirls who would compete that evening! Thank you to the crowd who did not disappoint, showing up despite the rain. I may have had a soaked shirt and saddle but we did not let that stop an action packed show for everyone to enjoy🐂✨ Thank you Crawford County, I had a blast! 🍿

Deadlines are quickly approaching, which means Miss Keystone State Rodeo 2027 Pageant Weekend is right around the corner! 🤠👑

Whether your preparation is already well underway or you’re still deciding if you’re ready to take a swing at the title of Miss Keystone State Rodeo 2027, these Pageant Snapshots are designed to break down the judged aspects of our pageant, ease your mind, and help you check a few more things off your preparation list!

🐴 HORSEMANSHIP

Horsemanship is your opportunity to showcase your skills as a horsewoman and demonstrate to the judges that you are prepared to represent our sport both in and out of the arena!

From grand entries and flag presentations to parades and carrying sponsor flags, a rodeo queen may find herself in a variety of situations on horseback. This portion of the competition allows you to demonstrate your ability to confidently and safely handle the horse you are given while representing the Miss Keystone State Rodeo organization.

This portion of the competition isn't about having a perfect pattern with zero mistakes. Horses are unpredictable, and things don't always go exactly as planned. What matters is how you respond.

We want to see that you can ride the horse you are given, adapt to the situation, maintain control, and safely complete the task to the best of your ability. Confidence, horsemanship, awareness, and safety are all important parts of being a successful rodeo queen.

Remember: A good horsewoman isn't defined by a perfect ride, but by how she handles the ride she's given. 💚

✨Life Behind the Sash✨
Being a rodeo queen is more than setting my crown on my hat, crossing a sash over my shoulder, and smiling for pictures. There’s early mornings, late nights, horse hair in lipgloss, and countless hours spent preparing to make an appearance.

Behind the sash are moments people don’t always see, the nerves before an event, the miles traveled, lessons learned, and most importantly the people who make it all possible 👑

My title has given me opportunities to meet amazing people, represent a sport I cherish and hopefully inspire the next generation of youth to chase their own dreams!☁️

I’m beyond thankful for every mile, every arena, every handshake and every memory this sash has given me. Being a rodeo queen isn’t just a title, it’s a responsibility, an opportunity and a way of life✨

💬 PERSONAL INTERVIEW

The personal interview is your chance to sit down with the judges and simply have a conversation. While they may ask about your rodeo knowledge, current events, platform, goals, and experiences, they're also getting to know you—the person wearing the hat.

This portion of the competition isn't about having every answer memorized or being perfect. It's about showcasing your confidence, authenticity, professionalism, and personality.
