Thank you United Senior Services Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), part of the national organization AmeriCorps Seniors, for your 1950's themed lunch to recognize volunteers from your five Madison County registered volunteer programs: Madison Health, Madison County Senior Citizens Center, Mt Sterling Community Center, West Jefferson Good Samaritan Food Pantry, H.E.L.P. House.

Madison Health and Madison County Senior Citizens Center volunteer Donna Sheridan was recognized for being an RSVP member for 12 years dedicating 7,047.58 volunteer hours. Some of Donna's family was on hand to celebrate her outstanding accomplishment. Thank you Donna and all the volunteers at Madison Health and throughout our community that make Madison County such a special place!🩵

🎉 Congratulations to Madison-Plains Girls Basketball on an outstanding season! 🏀
You didn’t just shine on the court—you made a meaningful impact off it as well. By supporting women in your community, you helped raise funds for the Madison Health Foundation Mona Flax Breast Cancer Endowment Fund. 💕
These incredible young ladies turned their hustle into hope, collecting donations for every steal during the game. With 18 steals that night, they raised an amazing $1,200!

Madison Health Speech Therapist, Alexis Deaver, was inspired by a Communication Sign Board at London Elementary School. As a speech therapist working with people of all ages, she knew how helpful a communication sign board could be for her patients and the community. Alexis’ initiative resulted in a combined effort by the Madison Health Foundation and London Parks and Recreation. The communication sign board was fittingly installed in May, which is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month.

Madison Health Foundation was happy to share in this project with the city, to assist our speech therapy patients and staff – and the broader community. The inclusive playground at Cowling Park was built out of love, and this feature adds another resource for visitors.

Special thanks to London Parks and Recreation for partnering with us and installing the sign.
