The Golden Glow of Christmas Past is an international non-profit dedicated to education about vintage Christmas lights, ornaments and decorations that are 40 years or older.

The June issue of The GLOW Magazine is under development!

Spring is in the air, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be thinking about Christmas! The cover of the June issue of the GLOW Magazine features a lovingly handcrafted cotton flat Victorian bell ornament. Awaiting you in this issue is an in-depth article by longtime member Linda Lau delving into how the Victorians made their own holiday decorations.

The April issue of The GLOW Magazine is under development!

In “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, Linus asks, “Lights, please?” The Magazine Team couldn’t resist this shot of these cheerful bright yellow GE flame bulbs from the collection of Herb Muktarian for the cover of the upcoming April issue of The GLOW Magazine. The April issue, now a yearly tradition here at the Golden Glow of Christmas Past features the ever-popular ABC’s of Christmas game played on our Facebook group, and is jam-packed with hundreds of photos posted from Glow Member’s collections as well as various other tidbits of information.

It’s National Polar Bear Day, and the polar bear has long been associated with Christmas in the form of advertising and decor with its frosty, wintry appearance.
