Lombard Mennonite Peace Center LMPC works to encourage the nonviolent transformation of conflict in relationships, homes, the workplace, and churches.

Now in its fourth decade, the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center (LMPC) helps Christians be reconciled to God, themselves, each other, and the world. Through educational workshops, coaching, and mediation, we work with Christians of all denominations and creeds to help them find peace and restored relationships. Although the majority of our work is in the United States, we also serve throughout the globe. For more details on our history and mission, visit our website lmpeacecenter.org.

Clergy lead within a complex web of relationships, where anxiety, competing expectations, and the need for belonging shape congregational life. Building on LMPC’s Clergy Clinic tradition, Bowen Basics is a 16-hour program that helps clergy develop skills in systems thinking to help clergy navigate the tensions between congregational togetherness and their own functioning. Through family-of-origin reflection, case studies, and engagement with Bowen family systems theory in readings and presentations, participants will examine how relationships form and fracture, how blame and scapegoating develop, and how leaders can remain connected while taking clear, thoughtful I-positions. Register for this 2.5-day online workshop at: https://lmpeacecenter.app.neoncrm.com/forms/633
