Recent storms and flooding have hit parts of Central New York hard, including areas in Madison, Herkimer, and Oneida Counties. While local volunteer teams have already helped with cleaning out homes and clearing fallen trees, many families are still in need of assistance.
Thatโs why New York Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NYVOAD), Madison County Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD), and Herkimer-Oneida Organizations Active in Disaster (HOOAD) are teaming up to organize Service Projects during the week of July 20. Trained volunteers will lead teams to help with muck-outs and storm debris removalโand we need more helping hands!

Whether you're an individual, part of a student group, church, or local club, this is a meaningful way to support those recovering from disaster.

Once you register, local coordinators will reach out with next steps, including a quick screening and how you can get involved.
