You’ll be okay again, self. I promise you that.
Not today maybe. Not tomorrow either. But one day, you’ll wake up and the weight on your chest won’t feel so heavy anymore. You’ve been carrying so much in silence. Smiling when you were breaking. Showing up when you were already tired. Being strong because you felt like you had no other choice. There were nights you cried quietly so no one would worry. Days you questioned your worth. Moments you wondered if this pain would ever end. But look at you. You’re still here. Breathing. Trying. Hoping, even when hope felt dangerous. Healing isn’t loud. It doesn’t arrive with fireworks or instant peace.
Sometimes it comes slowly. In small moments. In deeper breaths. In the way you start choosing yourself again. One day, you’ll laugh and realize it didn’t hurt as much as it used to. One day, you’ll look back and see how brave you were for staying. For not giving up on yourself when everything inside you wanted to. So hold on. Rest when you need to. Cry when it hurts. But never forget this. You are not broken. You are becoming. And one day, you won’t just be okay again. You’ll be stronger, softer, wiser…and proud of the version of you that survived what almost destroyed you.

6 years ago today the world lost an incredible young man. To say 6 years out loud dosent seem possible especially when the heartache is still here everyday. Carson was full of generosity, kindness, quirkiness, and love. When a close friend unexpectedly leaves us, a piece of our heart is forever broken. A few years ago his parents wrote a very important message in remembrance of their last night with him. And it still hits so hard. Take everyday as it could be the last and enjoy your loved ones. Their request was to make today December 10th a caring day in memory of their son Carson. Do something nice for someone. Whether it be to open a door, make them smile, or buy them a coffee, just do something that Carson would do. So in honor of Carson Sikora please do something caring for someone else today in his memory. Also anyone that needs someone to talk to or just to listen I am always here. I do care. No one should feel alone. We miss you everyday Carson🪶. Sending the Sikora family all our love ❤️

Some days just feel heavy —
not because something went wrong
but because your heart is quietly tired.

Snoopy, the adorable dog
from Peanuts comic strip,
reminds us that
even the happiest souls
have moments when the world
feels a little too quiet,
a little too much.

It’s okay to not be okay all the time.
It’s okay to sit with your feelings,
to let the sadness breathe for a while.
You don’t always have to smile,
or be strong,
or explain what’s wrong.
Sometimes healing begins in silence -
in allowing yourself to feel everything
you’ve been holding back.

Even the softest hearts get weary.
But remember —
this moment isn’t forever.
The clouds always pass,
and light always finds its way back in.

So if today feels heavy,
be gentle with yourself.
Curl up, rest, and know that
you’re still doing your best —
even on the days when that
doesn’t feel like enough.
Because, dear heart,
even in your sadness,
you are still worthy of peace.
