Thanks to , one of our founders had the opportunity to visit Ho’ōhanu and experience firsthand how they support the wellness of EMS, paramedic, and fire service professionals in Hawaii.
The goal was to learn from one another, build relationships, and explore opportunities to bring these concepts to California while expanding them involve law enforcement professionals.
Throughout the weekend, participants engaged in hiking, outrigger canoe paddling, Lomi Lomi massages, discussions on self-disclosure and vulnerability, and practical wellness tools designed to help first responders better understand and regulate the effects of cumulative stress.
A special mahalo to for facilitating powerful grounding experiences through the ocean, teamwork, and connection. Paddling together served as a reminder that resilience is often built alongside others.
