Thanks to the incredible support of our community, over the past week, we were able to host first responders at Runestone Ranch for an experience that goes far beyond traditional wellness education.
We’ve taken education and transformed it into an experience.
A place where first responders can step away from the demands of the job, decompress, and connect with individuals who have walked in their shoes.
From critical incidents, officer-involved shootings, extreme loss of life, to the aftermath of trauma and the everyday challenges of serving our communities, we understand the weight that comes with this profession because we’ve lived it.
Through peer-led education, hands-on activities, and genuine connection, we’re creating an environment where first responders can lower their guard, build relationships, and walk away with practical tools to support themselves, their families, and one another.
Our goal is to help first responders reconnect with the purpose that brought them into this profession, regain their pride and gratitude for the job, and recognize that even on the hardest days, their service matters.
Regardless of what they may be feeling or what they have experienced, we want them to walk away knowing that their community still needs them, their work makes a difference, and they are never alone in the challenges they face.
Runestone Ranch is a grassroots organization founded by first responders, for first responders. We know firsthand that wellness cannot be a checkbox or something addressed only when someone reaches a breaking point. It must be proactive, accessible, and built on trust.
This is more than a course. It’s a community built for us, by us.
