GAUGING INTEREST!

We are tentatively planning a youth nature hike. Goodnow mountain and fire tower is our destination.

This hike will be a guided hike with Adirondack Guide, James Simpson.

Live Well Connected will take care of lunch for all children, and travel. This will be either a large van or bus depending on the size of the group that is interested.

Goodnow mountain is roughly 2 hours and 15 minutes away. It is a 4 mile, round-trip hike with a fire tower at the end (moderate in difficulty level).

Any child is welcome, But must be able to hike the entire 4 miles (2 up, 2 down).

Looking at The end of September for planning.

Parents are welcome to join, but must pay for their bus fare.

Live Well Connected, Inc and CU Society partnered up a couple weeks ago for a fun, interactive nutrition class!

This particular seminar was geared towards teens, and teens headed off to college! 

As our children venture off on their own journeys, it is important that they understand how to shop, prepare, cook, and understand nutrition labels. 🥗

This interactive class allowed participants to prepare three different dorm-approved, healthy meals to get them ready for the fall! 😊

Wrapped up another 4 week Teen Lift; boy edition! 💪🏼

We witnessa lot of youth who are interested in using the gym. Unfortunately a lot of these kids don’t have gym experience or guidance. This is exactly why we partnered with Live Well Fitness Little Falls to provide and facilitate a special program for young men!

Our group was able to work under a personal trainer and Strength and conditioning coach, learning to lift properly and safely!

These guys were AWESOME and improved on form and strength during these last 4 weeks! 👏🏼

Great job guys! Best of luck in your fall sports!
