It’s been a while since we’ve updated you on Bondi — truthfully, we’ve been so busy with care across our complicated medical cases that our content is a little behind. ❤️

A few weeks ago, Bondi was very sick. She was struggling with severe diarrhea and zero appetite, but thankfully, we were able to turn things around.

We filmed along the way but never got the chance to share it. Would you guys still be interested in seeing her story and what her recovery looked like? 🤔

Bondi is currently being treated for dry/ocular FIP, and after a recent tummy ache, she’s starting to feel better again.

And if Bondi has one request through all of this, it’s tuna. Lots of tuna. 😂🐟 It’s her greatest joy and almost medicinal at this point. She LOVES it!

Already seeing improvement with Tate — he’s opened his right eye! 🎉

The eye has some deformities from the infection, but we’re hopeful it can continue to heal. He’s receiving blood serum eye drops, which contain natural proteins and growth factors that help protect and repair damaged corneal tissue. ❤️‍🩹

It’s still too early to know how much vision he’ll have, but seeing that little eye open is a very encouraging step.

Remember when this sweet girl was so shy? Well… not anymore! She’s come completely out of her shell and has even become friends with her doggie sibling. 🐱🐶

We’re slowly starting to open intake again, but it’s a balancing act. Every adoption opens up a foster spot for the next cat who needs us, and we still have 5 kitties waiting for homes before we have the space we really need.

But when you get a message late at night about a 2–3 week old kitten with his eyes sealed from infection—and there’s an empty incubator—you fill your incubator.

Found on the “twenty eight” (Aug 28), we named him “Tate”, a combo of both words

We don’t know yet what his vision will look like, but he will be getting every chance we can give him. He is already on antibiotics and blood serum drops to hopefully improve his vision. If you’d like to support his care, he needs it: www.givebutter.com/rof1 or donate below 💗

Yay!! Fern was adopted! 🤩❤️

This shy guy was found hiding in the bushes outside an apartment in Alliance. He traded sleeping in the bushes for soft blankets and a safe place to land with us. 🥰

Now, he’s trading us for something even better—his very own forever home! We couldn’t be happier for him. ❤️

Thank you for choosing adoption and giving Fern the happy ending he deserves! 🐾

Only 5 more kitties need homes! ❤️

Jesse and Woody have been with us since they were just weeks old—and even spent their first birthday here. We truly don’t know why they keep getting overlooked. They are the sweetest boys. At this point, we think that the only possible reason is because of their names😿, so we are changing them to Frankie and Louie.

Bob and Lloyd can be adopted together or separately. Both would thrive in quiet homes with plenty of love—and plenty of food! 🤣

And Siren? She’s simply perfect. We have no idea how she hasn’t been scooped up yet!

Congratulations to Buddy and his new family! ❤️

A friend to all, Buddy was our little hero whose rescue ultimately led us to the Cinco de Mayo litter on that hot spring day.

Now he’s officially saying goodbye to his Leetonia street-life roots & hello to the most loving family! 🥹
