Hope everyone is having a great evening! We had a busy day & trying to get caught up! Sorry our post is so late! But as they say, "better late, than never!"
So here we go. Quite a variety of items tonight. A little bit for everyone!!!

Dear Friends,

As most of you know our Lisbon Public Pool is in need of some major repairs.
The Mayor & Council are working on getting grants to help with these huge costs of repairing our pool.

The pool is so important to our community. When all the activity from the Oil & Gas companies was going on, I was the Executive Director of the Lisbon Area Chamber. When the oil companies would call wanting to know information about our village, there were 3 things they often asked if we had. 1- did we have a public library, 2 - did we have a community theater, & 3 - did we have a park with a public pool.

I was often asked these questions. The pool is a vital piece of our community.

The Mayor is seeking a grant from the Land & Water Conservation Fund. This grant ( with the other funds they have already gotten) would make repairing the pool a reality. What a blessing that would be!

But we need everyone to help! We need lots of letters of support from you! So simply by writing a letter to this organization & telling them how important the pool is to you & our community, it can help! How easy is that??? The more community support, the better our chances are to secure this grant.

If you're not sure what to write in that letter, we can help with that too!
We will starting tomorrow have a letter that we have drafted. All you have to do is sign it & give your name & address. How easy is that?

I letter from you is best, but this can help make it happen too.

So please stop down with your letter or come & sign ours! Let's make this happen Lisbon!!! We need that beautiful pool repaired!!!

So here's another thought, if you have moved from Lisbon but know how much you loved the pool growing up, would you also send a letter of support??? That would be awesome! One can send directly to Villlage Hall or get them to Almost Perfect & we will make.sure they get turned in. There is a deadline so hurry!!! I believe it has to be in by next Friday! Oct 16th

My mom is back from vacation so we are now full speed ahead with showcasing our Fall items! It won't be long till the Christmas goodies will be appearing!!!

Well we survived another wonderful (and very wet 😭) Johnny Appleseed Festival! Thank you to everyone that came to see us this weekend! We appreciate all your business!! We will be CLOSED this Thursday, September 24th through Saturday September 26th. We will reopen for normal hours the following Monday at 10am. But until then we still have a TON of amazing fall & Halloween decor! Stop in and grab some we're open 10-5pm today!
