We were delighted to see a presentation by Matt Montain, with SBM Fire, to learn how their Preparation & Emergency Response- went at the 3M Golf event went. We heard about some unexpected scenarios & how SBM navigated them. It turns out that having the world's number one golf player attracts a lot of attention. Crowd size was five times what was expected
Fire Chief Dan Retka also gave an update.

Our own Rotarian, former Centennial Lakes police chief, Jim Mork came and introduced us to his replacement, chief Brian Goetzke.

On June 30, our very own Rotarian police chief (Circle Pines), Jim Mork - retired. A packed house celebrated his 29 year police career.
Today, our current exchange student, Anna along with our last exchange student, Ella from Finland were at our meeting.

Our Club's Mentors congratulate the 6 Centennial high school seniors who were awarded scholarships to continue their education. Each month, we meet with STRIVE (students, taking a renewed interest in the value of education) students and have presenters on topics such as personal finances, Anoka County jobs, health, nutrition and resiliency.

It takes a village.
