Crossing Communities

Crossing Communities We are committed to bringing together communities from around the world to relate and understand one another through coffee, conversation and compassion.

Crossing Communities brings together diverse communities from around the world in order to enhance each group's world knowledge, cultural intelligence, compassion and well being. Our inspiration is the reality of the challenge of being able to relate and understand people living in different cultures. The founders of Crossing Communities experience this first hand, as Hirut is from Ethiopia and Al

yssa from Minnesota. Through many discussions (over coffee) they realized that coffee is a universal language, and this is how our organization started. The need for compassion and justice in impoverished areas of the world where people lack access to education, health care and health education and economic stability. From our personal travels and enjoyment of diverse coffee, we have come to see coffee as a way to connect ANYONE From around the world. Your purchase of Crossing Communities coffee will offer a tangible way to build relationships with people from diverse cultures in impoverished areas of the world and to raise support to build a community center for those people.

This is Cameron. Camron is a 14 year old and an 8th grader who lives in Minnesota. When Cameron's teacher gave them options to do project on any country in the world , he chose ETHIOPIA. I was honored to help him answer some of his questions on food, religion, climates and such to the best of my ablity and knowledge at a local Coffee shop:) we ended our Coffee and Conversation with an issue Cameron is interested in exploring more, clean water accessibility for all people in Ethiopia. I am sure he will come up with a solution someday! # Ethiopia # love when kids are interested in other cultures # the future is bright # Crossing Communities
