After 5 years of planning and construction the Limestone Development Foundation has finally finished renovations on Albert Michaud Park.

The Limestone Development Foundation and the Limestone Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual meeting with election of officers on November 12, 2024 at 6pm in the meeting room of the town office. We will be serving an assortment of desserts and reporting on our past year's activities. If you plan to attend please call or message 207-949-3633 by November 4, 2024.

The Limestone Development Foundation, Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club, made up entirely of volunteers, began fundraising for new playground equipment and other amenities in 2020 and raised nearly $140,000 through grants and local donations.

There will be some fireworks going off later tonight- we are waiting for a technician to travel from Houlton to check the damage and let off any remaining ones.

Landscaping, yep we do that too! We are finishing off the walking path now, then we will be installing new basketball hoops and seal coating the court. A big thank you to my team, Limestone Development Foundation & Chamber of Commerce, and The City of Limestone.

Happy Friday all - in the next few weeks you will notice some things taking place at Albert Michaud Park. Painting, finishing up of the walking path, some landscaping and work being done at the basketball court. Please be mindful to keep away from these areas as work is being done. Everything should be done by July 1 if all goes well and the weather cooperates. Please spread the word
