Congratulations to Class of 2026 Limestone Rotary Club Scholarship recipients – Jaydan Lausier & Nicholas O'Neal. This year we were pleased to be able to offer two scholarships, each in the amount of $2,000. 👏
⭐ Jaydan is a graduate of Fort Fairfield Middle/High School, and received one of the Limestone Rotary Club Scholarships for $2,000. Jaydan is planning on attending University of Maine at Orono, and will major in Criminal Justice Conservation Law. Jaydan perfectly embodies our motto: "Service Above Self" by being involved in multiple community service groups, such as Scouts of America and obtained the rank of Eagle Scout; Jobs for Maine Grads (JMG); and volunteered time in the Fort Fairfield Middle/High School Tigers Den. Jaydan also played soccer his freshman & sophomore year. And worked part-time at Evergreen Lanes featuring the Rendezvous (and continues to do so!). 👏
⭐ Nicholas is a graduate of Fort Fairfield Middle/High School, and was the other recipient of a Limestone Rotary Club Scholarship for $2,000. Nicholas has been accepted into the University of Maine at Orono, and will major in Constructional Engineering Technology. Nicholas also embodies our motto, having also obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. Nicholas played Varsity Soccer (captain), Varsity Basketball (captain), & Baseball for the Fort Fairfield Tigers. And is a Maine State Class D Soccer Champion. During the summer of his high school years (& at harvest-time), Nicholas worked full-time for Edgecomb Farms, as well as a lifeguard at Limestone Community Pool. 👏
