Limestone Rotary Club has kicked off their annual Cash Draw Fundraiser with the Fort Fairfield Rotary Club! Early Bird Drawing is Wednesday, September 16th; Final Drawings are Sunday, October 25, 2026. 😉❤💲

This is a primary fundraiser for both Clubs 👍- allowing us to give back to our communities where the need is.

For your Limestone Rotary Club, this fundraiser has allowed us to add a path/walkway to the pavilion at the Albert Michaud Park; provide scholarships & purchase senior photo banners for our High School Seniors; recognize our local Senior Citizens with a BBQ dinner ... and so much more ...!

Tickets are 1 for $60; or 2 or more for $50 each. And can be purchased from any Limestone & Fort Fairfield Rotarian.

Our project is complete! 👏 Earlier this year, our Club talked about adding a path at the Albert Michaud Memorial Park to make it easier for wheel chairs, strollers, wagons to go from the gate/parking lot to the pavilion where there's a handicap accessible picnic table (from one of our previous projects).

But it was the additional support from the Limestone Development Foundation & Chamber of Commerce that allowed us to pursue (& complete!) this project! THANK YOU for your contribution to this project! 👏

Shout out to Randy Brooker & his crew for completing this project for us! We are very pleased with how this came out! THANK YOU! ❤🏡♿

Rotarians served up hot dogs to students, siblings & parents at the Limestone Community School Educational Fair. 🌭🎒✏ The fair is an opportunity for students to meet their teachers, learn about their bus route and any other changes in the academic year, as well as hear/see what organizations/businesses in the community have to offer.

We wish all the students & staff at Limestone Community School and Dawn F Barnes Elementary School a GREAT school year! ❤🏫📚

Our Club will NOT be meeting this Thursday. Instead we'll be "meeting" at the Limestone Community School Educational Fair - serving up hot dogs, chips & water! 🌭

In addition, we'll be giving away 8 backpacks loaded with school supplies - come & enter a child's name for their chance to win one! 🏫🎒✏️

We look forward to seeing you there - and checking out the other exhibits that will also be there! ❤

Yesterday a couple members from our Club went to help the Mars Hill Rotary Club host their annual Golf Tournament. It was a morning well spent making new friendships, learning about another community and what a Club does for it! We're looking forward to connecting with them again! ❤️🌞🏠⛳️

It is with great sadness that our Club joins the Rotary family around the world in mourning the tragic loss of District Governor, Serge Poulin. 💔 He passed away Monday morning in a tragic automobile accident while traveling from his home in Quebec to visit a Rotary Club in Maine.

Even in just the hour our Club had w/ him last week, he "created lasting impact" - with his enthusiasm, infectious laugh, and warmth. It was evident he embodied the Rotary motto "Service Above Self".

Heartful sympathies to his family, friends, and Rotary community! ❤🙏

Our Club recently had a guest ... Serge Poulin, District Governor for District 7790 . Serge joined Rotary in 2001, and over the course of his Rotary career has served in various positions and has participated in approximately 30 humanitarian missions in the fields of optical care, polio eradication, and sustainable development across Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and South America.

Our Club was happy to be able to support Serge and his upcoming DG project, which is to provide optical care services in Africa, by presenting him with a check for $500.

Our Club recently installed our officers for the 2026-2027 year. We are looking forward to a successful & productive year, with a couple projects already lined up! 😉

In addition, two members were presented Multiple Paul Harris pins. The Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) award is one of the highest honors presented by Rotary International in recognition of individuals who have contributed an accumulated amount of $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation. The Multiple Paul Harris pin indicates an additional $1,000. ⭐️

Congratulations to each of the members and recipients! 👏
