SDHHDC is committed to building a bridge between speaking and deaf members of the community. We are a 501(c)3 charity...please support us!!

Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing of Davidson County (SDHHDC) shall provide information and coordinate a continuum of activities and services to the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind, and hearing population of Davidson County. SDHHDC shall promote better relations and understanding among all community sectors in Davidson County. SDHHDC will strive to achieve its goals through educational opportunities, volunteer services, a lending library, and monetary grants for technological enhancements to qualified consumers.

Please find the attached calendar for events at the Coliseum for the month of November 2026.

Notes:
1) The hockey game between the Gargoyles and the Mariners on Thursday, Nov 5th is all sold out because it's the Kids Day. Call time is 8:00 a.m. (that is in the morning, not in the evening!) Kids will keep us busy the entire time!

2) Concerts are our best revenue earners. These are TobyMac (Nov 8), Disney Descendants (Nov 20), For King + Country (Nov 22), and Ladies Love R&B (Nov 28).

3) I do not recommend signing up for all day affairs such as Holiday Market and Craftsmen's Christmas Classic.

4) They need only servers for the FCA Night of Champions on Tuesday, Nov 17th. Servers will earn at least $12-15/hr, all of which will go to SDHHDC. There's no selling involved.

5) Gargoyles is a Greensboro hockey team. (Game is about 2 hrs long. We probably can finish and leave before the end of the game.)

6) The Swarm is a Greensboro basketball team. (Game is about 2 hrs long. We probably can finish and leave before the end of the game.)
