While the definition of a teen parent varies, it is generally agreed upon that a teen parent is someone who becomes a parent before the age of 20. However, communities and organizations extend the definition to include individuals up to the age of 24. This is because young parents, regardless of age, may face unique challenges such as financial instability, lack of education, opportunities, and limited access to healthcare and resources.

Teen pregnancy is a complex issue with a range of factors that contribute to its occurrence. While some cases may be the result of a lack of education or access to contraception, others may be due to cultural or societal pressures.

Regardless of the cause, it is crucial to provide support and resources to young parents to ensure they can provide a nurturing and stable environment for their children.

Exciting Changes Coming 2024:

The Yvonne Foundation will no longer have its communication directed to LyTisa Greene’s personal account, as she now has a team to handle all inquiries and bookings.

This change is expected to help the foundation continue to grow, and move forward in an efficient and organized manner.

Prompt and professional handling of all communication, is crucial for expanding the organization’s reach and making a greater impact.
