Founded in 2015, Levittown Community Action Coalition (LCAC) is comprised of a dedicated group of representatives from schools, police and fire departments, hospitals, libraries, counseling centers, businesses, clergy, and non-profits in the Levittown, Island Trees, and surrounding communities working together to reduce substance misuse and prevent underage drinking through recognition, education,
and awareness. LCAC’s vision is to support a community where residents feel safe, valued, connected and empowered to respond to life’s challenges without resorting to the use and abuse of alcohol, opiates, or other drugs. In pursuit of this goal, community outreach programs, training and events provide residents with the necessary tools to reduce substance misuse through recognition, education, and awareness.
