We want to share about an incredible young person in the Ebenezer program who has been working tirelessly toward a bright future.

This student is one of the highest achieving in his class and has recently been given an amazing opportunity: to pursue university studies in the medical field with the goal of becoming a surgeon.

He has been awarded a government bursary covering about half of his tuition, which is a significant accomplishment. However, there is still a substantial gap remaining for this 10-semester program, and without additional support, he may not be able to continue.

We believe so strongly in the power of education to transform lives, not only for individuals, but for families and entire communities. This opportunity has the potential to create a future where he can support his family and give back in meaningful ways through healthcare in his community and country.

We’re preparing for our summer trip to East Africa, and we have an opportunity to support even more children. 💛

Beyond our sponsored children, there are many children in our partner communities with very real, everyday needs who remain unsponsored.

This summer, we’re helping provide:
• Plates & cooking pots for Ebenezer
• Diapers, clothes & school supplies for Shiloh & Empower Women
• Hygiene essentials for young women at Haven

Medical needs are rising within the Shiloh Horizons program. Children needing care are living with TB and HIV, and several have recently come into Damalie’s care needing urgent, life‑saving medical treatment, including oxygen support and extended hospital stays.

These emergencies bring costs beyond our regular medical care budget, so we are looking to help Damalie meet these needs with your help. Our current outstanding need is $300.

Current Need of Registration Fees for Candidates- A letter from the Director of Ebenezer Nursery and Primary School

I am writing on behalf of the children in candidate classes that is primary seven, senior fours and senior six.

This year we have 5 candidates in senior four who are ready to sit for their national exams and we have following for primary seven. We have 6
in Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) and will be joining high school next year.

However, we face a critical hurdle of UNEB registration that is not part of tuition but payable once to National Examination Board (closes on May, 6th 2026).

Without these certificates, their years of hard work end here. With them, they can join secondary school, vocational training, or progress to A’ Level.

Those in primary are required to contribute 100,000 each ($28.50) and high school are required to contribute 230,000 each ($65.70)

Therefore our current need for registration in primary is 900,000 shillings and high school is 1,150,000 shillings.
Total 2,050,000 ($585.70)
