Foster Parent Appreciation 💛
It’s the everyday moments that matter most—the rides to appointments, the bedtime routines, the hard conversations, and the small wins worth celebrating.
"When people ask me about our foster families (who they are, what they do, etc.), I generally say that the primary qualification is to be a little crazy. In our world today, it feels a little crazy to take other people’s kids into your home and love on them. But our foster parents do it. Some of them do it over and over again. I find it inspiring, especially when I see them raising their own kiddos and juggling work and church responsibilities and 100 other things. They may be just a little crazy, but it’s my kind of crazy!"
-Jeff, Executive Director
"Our parents are simply the best, they always have the kid’s best interest at heart. Their work as parents is hard. I am so often filled with pride at their responses to ugly, often unspeakable things. They choose love and grace, when judgement and condemnation would surely be the easier choice. They go above and beyond loving kids, they extend compassion and kindness to case workers, biological family, judges, and even me! What a gift to serve alongside them."
-Shelley, Foster Care Case Manager
"Our foster parents see past the behaviors and see God’s child no matter if the kiddo is in their home for 5 minutes of 5 years, and they are determined to show the love of Jesus Christ to every child that enters their home. Our foster parents step, jump, leap and run into the trenches for their foster kids and for the kids' parents."
-Jenn, Foster Care Case Worker Manager
Foster parenting isn’t easy, but your willingness to step in and stand in the gap changes everything for the children in your care.
You are making a difference—every single day.
We see you. We appreciate you. And we are so thankful for you.
