Thank you to the San Diego Banjo Band, for the many years, we in the kitchen were able to provide meals for you and your guests. It started quite a few years ago. I started the meals when the band first came to practice here. I think it was week 2. Even my grandson has special memories, he was a baby in a car seat, the play pen (thanks Chief), then a high chair and finally as a helper. I was blessed with the other Ms. Beach. (Tonya) Barb and JJ, Paul and recently Sandy and Kiley.
Sadly, dinners will no longer be served, due to rising costs and amount of meals purchased.
The band will continue playing every Thursday evening from 5:30 - 7:30. So please come on down and enjoy
the music.
I made a special cake to celebrate with them this last Thursday following a great spaghetti dinner that Sandy made and Kiley served. Thank you again for letting us serve you for many years.

🇺🇸 Remembering 9/11 🇺🇸

Today, volunteers from V.F.W. Post 1512 delivered dinner and snacks to each of our local Heartland Fire Stations in remembrance of September 11th and to show our appreciation for the men and women who serve our community.

While firefighters may not be veterans, we proudly consider them our comrades in service. They answer the call when others need help, put themselves in harm’s way, and serve their communities with courage and dedication.

Today, and every day, we thank you for everything you do. We stand with you, we appreciate you, and we will never forget.

🇺🇸 Never Forget. 🇺🇸
