Our DSP's are the backbone of our organization! We certainly couldn't provide services without them.

Governor Gavin Newsom honors Director Support Professionals (DSP) week.

"California is the only state that continues to promise individuals with disabilities the services and support they need to participate in their communities. Direct Support Professionals deliver on this promise to more than 500,000 Californians with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families every day...They are more than caregivers — Direct Support Professionals build close, respectful, and trusting relationships, becoming integral in the lives of the people and families they serve by helping with daily living, health, community connection, and independence."

DSC would like to extend a huge thank you to San Diego Employees' Charitable Organization for their generous grant supporting our Adult Day Program. Because of their kindness, we're adding two new Bubble Walls to our sensory space - bringing more calm, color, and joy to the individuals we support. We appreciate you!!
