Florida Constitutional Amendment Three (3) ❌ IS NOT ❌ the same thing as the teacher pay and school safety referendum.

We can't expect a different outcome if we keep electing the same.

For decades, Florida’s leaders have disinvested in public education, disadvantaged students, and disrespected educators. Tomorrow, we have a chance to change that.

The future of public education is on the ballot. Make a plan to vote and make your voice heard. 🗳️ https://bit.ly/4wLuuJk

❌ What the state provided for salary increases this year and the rules around those funds are problematic to say the least.

There is a supermajority (approximately 1900) of LCS educators who are left out. Many educators thought they were included are just now learning they are not. We are hoping this will be a wake up call. 📞

Your union colleagues agree this state plan is not good 👎 . We stand with you. This is why your LCEA colleagues have continued to advocate for a more comprehensive compensation plan. We have a plan to fix it!

🗓️June 2026 - LCEA made a proposal that would ensure all LCS educators would have a pay increase THIS school year and it would help the veteran educators who were left out of the state salary increase.

📢Since then, at every bargaining session, your colleagues have continued to ask about the status of the district budget and additional compensation.

We all are about to find out whether we will see additional pay increases or not, and we all have the 💥POWER to change our future.

You can make a difference with YOUR PAY NOW by standing with your colleagues. 🇺🇸📚❤️

1️⃣ Step 1: VOTE 🗳️! If you haven’t already, vote on Tuesday, November 3 in person at your precinct. ✔️Vote for the Lake County School District Teacher Pay and School Safety Referendum.

2️⃣ Step 2: SHOW UP to collective bargaining on November 18th from 4 - 6 PM at the LCEA office as your colleagues continue to negotiate for this year's contract.

⭐️ Let's take control of our destiny and ensure we have a better life. Will you join us in advocating for what we deserve?

The Lake County School Board Referendum isn’t just about teacher pay; it’s about safety, mental health support, small-group learning, and keeping essential school staff in our classrooms. Without this funding, our schools lose vital security officers, school nurses, and classroom resources.

Protect our teachers. Protect our kids.

✔️Vote YES for the Lake County Ad Valorem Tax Referendum for Teacher Pay and School Safety
