13 YEARS. ❤️
That’s how long it had been since she was able to get into a full squat.
After an MCL tear in 2013, three back surgeries, heart issues, and a period of becoming much less active, she felt like she had lost so much of her strength, mobility, and balance.
But she decided to start working on herself again.
Not all at once.
Not by chasing perfection.
Just one movement, one class, one little victory at a time.
And TODAY… she squatted all the way down. 🥹💪
THIRTEEN YEARS.
I wish you could have felt the joy in that moment.
This is why I believe so deeply in Everyday Independence.
Strength isn’t just lifting heavier.
Mobility isn’t just stretching farther.
Balance isn’t just standing on one foot.
It’s being able to do something with your body that you thought you had lost.
She’s still working. Still getting stronger. Still improving her balance and mobility.
But today?
Today we celebrate the squat. ❤️
So proud of you, Melissa Haley! 🥹💪
