🎉 Madison Youth Soccer has been nominated for Non-Profit of the Year!

We are incredibly grateful and honored to receive this nomination! This means so much to us, especially knowing how much hard work, time, and heart our volunteers and community have poured into building this organization year after year.

We hope you’ve seen the changes and growth in Madison Youth Soccer, and we’re just getting started!

For the safety of all players and their families, we have decided to cancel the combine today due to severe thunderstorms! We will still have the 2nd part of the combine on Thursday! See y’all then!

If you still haven’t registered but plan to play, please call Sammi at (517) 240-7955 so she can get you registered as uniforms need to be ordered soon!

If finances are holding you back from signing your child up, please reach out! Every year, we have sponsors that help pay for these scholarships. We have an application you can fill out to get a scholarship if needed. All kids deserve to play!

Scholarships are not “free”, if you get a scholarship you pay $30 to offset jersey cost and then the rest of the cost is paid by doing 3 hours of service at the fields to make that cost up.

Reminder: Soccer Combine is this Tuesday and Thursday 8/25 and 8/27 at Ben Blair Park in Lee FL, in order to properly place players on teams!

We know everyone has questions about the Combine, so here are some answers! 👇

Do we have to attend both days?
YES, please! We strongly ask that players attend both days so our coaches can properly evaluate everyone and place players where they will be the best fit.

What if I still owe a payment?
Please bring your payment with you to the Combine, or see Sammi if you need to set up a payment plan.

Will we get uniforms at the Combine?
No. Uniforms will be ordered later that week.

Is it too late to sign up?
No! Come on out! We will be happy to help you get registered.

What does my player need to bring?
Players should bring:

* A filled water bottle
* Shin guards
* Cleats

Will there be an equipment swap this year?
Yes! If you have old soccer equipment that your player has outgrown or no longer needs, please bring it with you for the equipment swap.

Do parents need to stay for practices and games?
YES. An adult 18 years or older must be present with the player at all times throughout the season. Players cannot be dropped off and left without an adult present.

What exactly is a “Combine”? Why do we need to come?
The Combine is similar to tryouts or an evaluation really, everyone makes a team!
The purpose is to allow our coaches to evaluate players and determine which team and group will be the best fit for each player. This helps us create balanced teams rather than having stacked teams, while also making sure players are placed with a group that fits their skill level and needs.

What if we miss the Combine?
If your player is unable to attend the Combine, they will be pulled aside during the first practice so a coach can evaluate them and determine which team/group will be the best fit.
