Just a reminder: all our members get two hours of FREE CHILDCARE per day in our Child Watch area while they’re using our facility. Looking for something fun and active for your toddler this summer?? Try our Parent-Child and Preschool Gymnastics classes! Our recreational gymnastics program for kids aged 1-5 years old teaches basic large movements using gymnastics fundamentals and apparatus. Parent participation is encouraged in our Parent-Child classes as we build your child’s confidence. Each class emphasizes gymnastic skills like balance, strength, spatial awareness, and flexibility. For these younger budding gymnasts, we make sure the classes are high-energy fun!

Help us shout a huge 🎉 WAY TO GO 🎉 to these amazing Group Fitness instructors who are all Precor Stages Spin Certified!! These instructors continue to go above and beyond to remain up to date on the best equipment and practices for spin classes, so that YOU can get the most out of your workout in class. We have all new spin bikes in studio 3, so if you haven't already stopped into one of our spin classes, you don't know what you're missing!!! 🛟 FRIDAY FEATURE 🛟

It's pool season and we're thankful to have some of the best lifeguards and aquatic staff! Today we're featuring Maria...

Maria is one of our Lifeguard Supervisors and even though she's only been with the Countryside Y staff for the last 7 months, she's been a lifeguard for more than 3 years. Maria says, "My favorite part of the job is the members and staff I’ve met along the way. My favorite story has to be Karla’s tradition of wearing pink on Wednesdays. My [inspiration for working at the Y] is about making a positive impact in my community. I value creating a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone feels included and grows." When Maria isn't at the Y, she loves volleyball, running, reading, and traveling to new places and trying new things.

Our popular Coed Candy and Advanced Candy League Soccer program offers a fun, introduction to indoor soccer for ages 4–7. Teams are named after favorite candies and have up to 8 players (3 on the field at a time).

🍬 Candy League (Ages 4–5)
🍭 Advanced Candy League (Ages 6–7)
☀️ Summer 2026 Season: August 1 – August 29
📍 Located in our Turf Gym
🗓️ Games are Saturdays between 9am–1pm (one-hour games)
⚽️ Shin guards and soccer socks required. No outdoor cleats.
