“The Blues” in our tournament are top notch! They put up with a lot from coaches, but to be honest, it’s the parents that make it the most difficult. 

Did you know our tournament is fully umpired by all young ladies who have played softball; are playing softball and choose to be an umpire. Think about that we had 43 games over 2 1/2 days and every single one of them had two umpires and sometimes three on the field. These girls ran from age 13 to 23 years old.  They were on the field from 8 AM to 11 PM every day and most of them barely had a break.

They did it with confidence & grace! We love that we have been able to teach these girls how to stand up for themselves and the young ladies that are on these teams!

For the most part, we did pretty well, but we always have coaches and parents that make this job very difficult! So a quick reminder to all of you be better!

Now onto our amazing volunteers…..we want to say thank you for making this tournament run smoothly!

Field prep; scoreboards; cleaning up; people pleasing; T-shirt sales ; rain delays; mud; rain and more rain!

It takes a lot of work; cooperation; fun and organization!

The U14 brackets concluded with a tiebreaker at 10:30 pm this evening. Despite playing in foggy and misty conditions throughout the day, all participating teams demonstrated remarkable perseverance. The final standings are as follows:

1st - Oil City Starz
2nd - Sioux Falls Lightening
3rd - Western Nebraska Fury.
