LeRoy Joy Project An effort to spread joy by recreating the look and feel of an old-time department store at Christmas The Project is located in St.

The Joy Project is inspired by the former Sibley's Department Store in downtown Rochester, NY and their annual Christmas display. Mark's Episcopal Church, 1 East Main St., LeRoy. Although it's on a lower floor (and is not handicap accessible), there will be a lengthy video shown on a large screen on the main floor. Open Hours are Saturdays (10-4) and Sundays (12-4) from Thanksgiving to Christmas.

Be prepared murals by Lorie Longhany, who received an arts grant from GoArt!, a large Christmas village and train display, "department store" Christmas windows with animatronics and a Christmas story written by Sandra Whiting, and a one-of-a-kind diorama of the 1937 radio show "The Cinnamon Bear." There is no charge to see this Christmas display from years gone by.

Sunday, December 21st is your final opportunity to experience the trains, the Christmas village, the Cinnamon Bear, the Christmas windows, the Christmas Shop, and much more at the Joy Project! Hours are 12 noon to 4:00 pm. This is a free family event.
We still have some reproductions of the 1930s Cinnamon Bear coloring book--free to all children who visit.
Located at 1 East Main St., LeRoy at St. Mark's Episcopal Church (down a flight of stairs).
