Our Mission

Mission Statement

MaryLand… A Heaven for Horses provides a safe and dignified retirement for Standardbred racehorses who can no longer race. MaryLand is dedicated to providing retired horses quality care in a positive environment to live out their natural lives. MaryLand is committed to educating the public about Standardbred racing and the proper responsibilities of horse ownership. Vision:

Our objective at MaryLand is to provide a safe environment for former racehorses while providing a lifetime of care. Strategic Plan:

MaryLand raises money to add additional space (barns) (fencing for pastures) to accommodate more horses. All horses will be provided vet, dental, foot care, feed, and bedding. All horses will have proper protection against all weather conditions.
