Sheroes United, a non-profit organization, began with the intention of 5 women to serve. Their only purpose was to step-up, share their stories and inspire other women to do the same. Sheroes United honors women of all ages, race and situations who have come to the point of change and done great things in their life. “Many voices tell many stories. Many women all over the world are silent in fear, abuse, agony and addictions while thinking they are alone and unsure what to do with their lives. Simultaneously, many women have faced a turning point where they made a decision to leave an abusive situation, make a new start, or go forward among obstacles and pain. That is about to change!! SHERO - A female hero; or a female that displays strong heroic acts when found in a threatening position or situation. A Woman that selflessly puts others ahead of her at all expense and is considered to be a role model for other young women. A woman other women should aspire to be. We believe that Sheroes are women that have been through extraordinary experiences and have proven to be heroic in those efforts. We are seeking stories about everyday Sheroe women that are making a difference. We want to highlight the women in our community that go above and beyond to make positive change in other women's lives...
Some examples of a SHERO could be a woman that has pioneered new technology, served her country and been awarded for meritorious service, a woman that has powered through illness and been a role model for others and has shared her stories for others to appreciate, women performing in high profile positions and doing it with great dignity, and so on...
Sheroes United aka Sheroesunited.org wants to identify these women and share their stories to other women. We want to identify our role models and all that they have to offer. This site will be a portal of information. We want to share your stories and inspire other women to achieve their full potential.
