🇺🇸🐾 HAPPY LABOR DAY FROM K9 FLUENT! 🐾🇺🇸

Today is about taking a well-earned break, enjoying the people we love… and obviously including the dogs. Because according to them, every holiday is actually about them. 😂🐶

Whether your Labor Day includes:

☀️ A morning walk or hike
🌭 A backyard BBQ with a four-legged supervisor
🎾 A serious game of fetch
💦 Some water fun
😴 Or absolutely NOTHING except relaxing together…

Make your dog part of the day!

And remember—holidays are also great opportunities to practice those everyday training skills. Place while food is being prepared, polite greetings when guests arrive, leash manners on your adventures, and recall during safe outdoor fun.

Training doesn’t always have to look like a formal training session. Sometimes it looks like simply living life together. ❤️

From all of us at K9 Fluent Professional Dog Training, we hope you and your dogs have a safe, happy, tail-wagging Labor Day! 🇺🇸🐾

Now go enjoy the day. Your dog has been waiting. 😂

🐕💨 WHAT IS AKC AGILITY? A LITTLE HISTORY BEHIND THE FASTEST FUN ON FOUR PAWS! 🏆🐾

Have you ever watched a dog race through tunnels, soar over jumps, fly across an A-frame, and weave through poles—and wondered, “How did this amazing sport begin?”

🐾 Dog agility actually began in England! Inspired by equestrian show jumping, the sport was first introduced as entertainment during the famous Crufts Dog Show in the late 1970s. The crowd loved watching dogs and their handlers work together to navigate an exciting obstacle course—and a whole new canine sport was born!

🇺🇸 Agility eventually made its way to the United States, where the American Kennel Club introduced its own agility program in the 1990s.

Today, AKC Agility is one of the most exciting dog sports around! Teams of dogs and handlers work together to complete a timed obstacle course that can include:

✨ Jumps
✨ Tunnels
✨ Weave Poles
✨ A-Frames
✨ Dog Walks
✨ Teeters
✨ And much more!

But agility isn't just about being fast! ⏱️🐕

It is about teamwork, communication, trust, training, and having FUN together! Every course challenges the handler and dog to work as a team, making quick decisions while building an incredible bond.

Whether you're competing for titles, learning something new, or simply enjoying an active adventure with your best four-legged friend, agility has something for everyone! 💙🐾

At Golden Spike Dog Obedience Club, we love celebrating the amazing things people and their dogs can accomplish together!

🐕💨🏆 Fast paws. Brave hearts. Amazing teamwork. That's the excitement of agility!

🐾💙

🇺🇸🐾 Star-Spangled Scurry 2026 🐾🇺🇸

What a beautiful way to start a Wednesday morning! On July 15th, members and friends of Golden Spike Dog Obedience Club and K9 Fluent Professional Dog Training, LLC gathered at the stunning Beus Pond Park in Ogden for our AKC Star-Spangled Scurry.

With cool morning air, beautiful scenery, wagging tails, and smiling faces, we shared more than just a walk—we shared friendship, encouragement, and a love for our dogs.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out and made the morning so memorable. Your enthusiasm and support are what make these events so special. A special thank you to Brenda for getting everyone moving.

Whether your goal is earning an AKC FIT DOG title, spending quality time with your best friend, meeting fellow dog lovers, or simply enjoying Utah's beautiful outdoors, our walks are for everyone. Every step strengthens the bond with our dogs—and with each other.

💙 If you've ever thought about joining us, we'd love to welcome you. You don't have to be an expert—just bring your dog, your walking shoes, and a smile. There's always room for another friend on the trail.

We can't wait to see familiar faces and meet new ones at our next adventure!

🐕 Because every mile is better with your best friend by your side.
