Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce Celebrates 77th Annual Meeting and Honors Community Leaders

The Lawrence County Chamber hosted its 77th Annual Meeting on October 16 in Downtown Lawrenceburg, bringing together more than 400 attendees for an evening recognizing local leadership, business accomplishments, and continued progress across Lawrence County.

The evening included the presentation of five awards honoring outstanding individuals and businesses making a difference in our community.

2026 ANNUAL MEETING AWARD RECIPIENT SPOTLIGHT

Congratulations to Lawrenceburg Mayor Blake Lay, recipient of the 2026 Steve Hill Legacy of Leadership Award! 🏆

Mayor Lay was recognized for his years of dedicated public service and leadership, having served as Mayor of Lawrenceburg from 1999 to 2003 and again from 2018 to the present.

Throughout his time in office, he has supported economic growth, community development, and opportunities for future generations while also mentoring and encouraging emerging community leaders.

Congratulations, Mayor Lay, on this well-deserved honor, and thank you for your continued service to Lawrenceburg!

Congratulations to Joe and Jessica Chapman, recipients of the 2026 Lawrence County Citizens of the Year Award! 🏆

Joe and Jessica were recognized for their dedication to supporting children and families through Crashin' for Kids Derby. Since 2020, they have helped raise nearly $300,000 for Kid's Place/ A Child Advocacy Center through their annual event.

A licensed massage therapist at ManeStream SASS, Jeremy was recognized for his dedication to volunteering, serving others, and his involvement in Lawrence County.

During the event, Dr. Remke announced the exciting addition of two new doctors to their practice, marking another milestone for the clinic as they continue providing quality eye care to Lawrence County.
