Please join us this Wednesday, 11/04/2026, as Richard gives his testimony.

This weeks testimony will be from Lawrence’s Celebrate Recovery’s leader, Richard. From a small town to a small Christian college but failing due to struggling with alcoholism. Quitting later in life but never healing thus losing his family and hating God and becoming an atheist. Finding Graniteunited, the Merrimack Valley Dream Center and then Celebrate Recovery. Why would God give a miserable ex-alcoholic, p**n addict, bitter, angry person one more chance? I don’t know but He did. Maybe to share God’s love with other people who are also broken, who are also ashamed of themselves who truly need to find their rest in the arms of Christ. He did it because our purpose is tied to the pain that God allows us to go through. We can use our pain right now to make us better or to make us bitter. My hardships can help someone else’s hardships and love other people, especially the ones who need it the most. Others who are also broken and ashamed of their failures. Because God gets the glory from my story.

We open the doors at 6:00 pm for food and fellowship, we start our meeting promptly at 6:30 pm and we go until 8:00.

Sometimes the biggest battles is nots what happening around us.. its what's happening in our minds.

Old thought patterns can keep us in old behaviors, we can leave the situation, put down the substance, set the boundary or walk away from tge unhealthy relationship. But if our thinking never changes, we can find ourselves living in the same cycle.

God wants us to transform our minds.

Recovery teaches us to recognize the lies we believed and replace them with the truth.

Some of the most meaningful acts of service happen before anyone walks through the door.

A clean space. Fresh supplies. A ready shower trailer. Each small task helps create an environment where someone can feel cared for, respected, and seen 💙

Please join us this Wednesday, 10/27/2026, at Mike gives the lesson 22 “GRATITUDE”. (at this time of year maybe we should call it “Living in thanksgiving”) let’s face it sometimes in all of our lives we want to live in this jail cell of anger and bitterness towards the world around us; our exes, our children, our parents. What the enemy tries to teach us is that we have no control over our own emotions “ I have a right to be angry because...” Those of us in recovery though know how the “attitude of gratitude” can be very a very powerful tool in our recovery.

A warm shower meets a real need. But sometimes, the real impact happens in the moments in between: a shared story, a conversation, mutual respect, a volunteer helping someone into a clean pair of shoes....

Through our Mobile Shower Ministry, these simple moments create space for dignity, connection, and compassion. They remind us that care is not only about what we provide, but how we make people feel along the way. 🙏
