Please join us this Wednesday, 06/10/2026, as Dianne gives the Celebrate Recovery Lesson 13.

We are continuing the process of admitting our wrongs (and the good) in our lives. We are continuing our study on taking our moral inventory. When we cannot admit the pain of our past or the mistakes we’re making now, we will never find the freedom that we yearn for.

Doors open at 6:00 pm for food and fellowship.

The meeting starts promptly at 6:30 pm and runs until 8:00.

Meeting is held at the New Beginnings Peer Recovery Center, 487 Essex St., Lawrence, MA.

Call Richard at 978-376-6848 for more information

There is additional parking on Common Street right across from the post office. There is a back door into New Beginnings.

Please join us this coming Wednesday, 06/03/2026, as we have a really special guest testimony, Diana.

Diana is the Celebrate Recovery leader in Haverhill and the founder of “Ray of Light.”

An Example of what pain with purpose can do with the Holy Spirit!!

Diana's story of hope! Hope in Jesus Christ.

From her own raging addiction to Alcohol and drugs to walking through her son’s addiction, which ended in an overdose.

Jesus Christ has provided a way to take what the enemy meant for evil and turn it for good.

Hers is the story of freedom and joy of the Lord in all circumstances!

We open the doors at 6:00 pm for food and fellowship.

We start our meeting promptly at 6:30 pm, and we go until 8:00.

The meeting is held at the New Beginnings Peer Recovery Center
487 Essex St., Lawrence, MA.

Please join us this Wednesday as Mike gives us lesson 12: “CONFESS”.

We cannot do this journey alone, no matter how hard we try.

Principle 4 states “Openly examine and confess my Felt to myself, to God, and to someone I trust”.

Why and how do we talk to other people? One of the pinnacles that holds Celebrate Recovery up is “What is shared in the group stays in the group”.

You do not have to speak; you can just listen until you feel comfortable, but join us for an open fellowship that you’ve never experienced before. For all of our “habits, hurts, and hang-ups”.

We open the doors at 6:00 pm for food and fellowship, we start our meeting promptly at 6:30 pm, and we go until 8:00.

Meeting is held @ the New Beginnings Peer Recovery Center, 487 Essex St. Lawrence, MA.

Call Richard at 978-376-6848 for more information.

Thank you to an anonymous donor who generously donated shower shoes.

Shower shoes are more than comfortable — they help protect our guests from infections, slips, and injuries while using our mobile showers. A simple pair of shower shoes helps promote health, safety, and dignity for our unhoused neighbors.

Mental health month

Week 3: Renewing your mind - Not every thought is truth.

Our minds speak fast, especially in hard moments. And not every thought it offers deserves your agreement.

Some thoughts are shaped by fear.
Some by past wounds.
Some by exhaustion.

They can sound incredibly convincing
But we have the ability to pause.
To slow it down.
To question it.
To choose what you align with.

We dont have to fight every thought. We just dont have to believe all of them.

Some days that look like:
- checking a thought with your sponsor.
- asking if this is true or just loud.
- writing it out instead of reacting on ot.
- grounding before responding.

We are not our thoughts.
You are the one who can respond to it.

Try this today:

Pause when a heavy thought hits and ask: "What is actually true right now?"

Let's talk:

What's one thought you learned to challenge instead of belive?

Week 2: connection that sustains you - You dont have to carry it alone.

One action can change your direction, but connection is what keeps you moving.

Healing is not built in isolation. It's strengthened in safe relationships.

Not perfect ones. Not constant ones. Just consisten, honest connections.

Some days that look like:

Texting your sponsor before things spiral.

-Checking in with your accountability partner.

- Showing up to a meeting even when you dont feel like talking.

-Letting someone know where you are actually mentally.

You dont have to explain everything.

Choosing connection is enough for today.

Connection doesn't remove the struggle, but it keeps you from facing it alone.

Try this today:

Reach out before you feel okay.

Let's talk:

Who is someone safe you can stay connected to this week?
