THANKS 🦃 Comment for the details on this Thankful Turkey writing craft!

Mom. Dad. Candy. 🧡 The things little ones are thankful for make this November writing activity so sweet.

Students write what they’re thankful for on the feathers, then build a colorful turkey for your Thanksgiving bulletin board or hallway display.

Before writing, let partners share their ideas aloud. It’s a simple way to help students get started and turn a turkey craft into a meaningful conversation about gratitude.

👇 THANKS for the cutest little turkey craft EVER!

Our AMA works with the federal government, Congress, and other stakeholders to build public confidence in vaccines. That includes monitoring the safety of existing and newly approved vaccines, and making sure there are adequate resources for post-approval surveillance.

As respiratory virus season begins, this resource helps you see how a cold, the flu, COVID, and RSV differ, from how each one starts—scratchy throats, wheezing, or fatigue—to how long you’re contagious—1 to 7+ days.

This respiratory virus resource also covers how to prevent and manage each one, and when it’s time to call your doctor.

Handwashing, covering your cough, and wearing a mask if you have symptoms are all easy ways to protect yourself and others.

Would your child know what to do in an emergency?

Teaching children how and when to call 9-1-1 is one of the most important safety conversations a family can have. While we hope they’ll never need to make that call, being prepared can help them stay calm and get help quickly when every second counts.

Practice these 9-1-1 safety tips together at home:
1) Know when to call 9-1-1—for emergencies involving police, fire, or EMS.
2) Memorize your home address and a parent or guardian’s phone number.
3) Stay calm and answer the dispatcher’s questions.
4) Stay on the phone with the Dispatcher, if it's safe to do so.
I5) f you’re unsure whether it’s an emergency, call 9-1-1 and let the dispatcher help determine the appropriate response.

Our Communications Division is here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ready to help when you need us. Taking just a few minutes to practice today can make a lifelong difference tomorrow.

Prepared families help build a safer Colonie.
