We are saddened to share the passing of a longtime friend and supporter of the American Cancer Society, Judith Ortel.

Judith fought cancer in so many ways, through her own journey, through her support of our mission, and through the incredible legacy of giving back that continues through her family.

Her impact will be felt for years to come, especially through our Gala of Hope, where her daughter, Jennifer MacPhee, has provided tremendous leadership and their entire family has been so deeply involved in advancing our mission.

We are incredibly grateful that her family has chosen to honor her memory by asking that donations be made to the American Cancer Society Gala of Hope in lieu of flowers.

Our thoughts are with Jennifer and the entire family during this difficult time. ❤️
