Washington Leadership Conference 2026
This week, five outstanding New Mexico FFA members had the opportunity to represent our state at the Washington Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. Through leadership development, advocacy experiences, service learning, and visits with our nation's leaders, these members strengthened their ability to make a difference in their schools, communities, and the agricultural industry. WLC is designed to inspire members to become changemakers through exploration, encouragement, advocacy, and service.
Representing New Mexico were:
Greeley Goodson and Mallorie Ford of Texico FFA; Hailey Johnson, Elli Long, and Samantha Cruz of Des Moines FFA
From congressional visits and leadership workshops to exploring our nation's capital, these young leaders embraced every opportunity to grow, serve, and advocate for agriculture.
We are proud of the way they represented New Mexico FFA and look forward to seeing the impact they will make when they bring their experiences home.
