LOGLINE — A motel hustler takes a job: get the face of a luchador who just won the wrong fight.

LA LEY (30s, male) — An ever-masked luchador with a reverence for ritual and aversion to spectacle. Suffering from success. Quiet, earnest, hardened.
ERNESTO (40s, male) — Freshly unmasked. Formerly “El Hijo del Nahual.” The worst night of his life. Humiliated.
RAFA (25-35, male) — An old friend of our protagonist Miriam. Must speak Spanish. Street-slicking, advantage-taking, jittery, unserious.
LUNA (50s or 60s, female) — Ernesto’s mother.
Sweet as sugar, with a mean streak. A cunning negotiator.
SERCE (40s/50s, male) Miriam’s client. Well-meaning but fallable. And, tonight, short on cash.
RICHIE (20s/30s, male) A proud drunk. La Ley’s oldest friend. Clueless at consoling.
