DACC is so proud of its students, staff, and faculty. We have to let you know about some recognition one of our Nursing professors received!

Andrea Cathey has been recognized for her volunteerism in helping expecting moms. For years, Cathey has volunteered and provided her expertise at High Desert Women’s Center. Cathey was recognized as the center’s Sunday Spotlight for her impact and advocacy for women and families in our community.

She's not only a registered nurse, but also a lactation consultant, DACC professor, and member of the Medical Advisory Board. Congrats, Andrea!

Join our Breastfeeding and Newborn Care Class taught by an international board-certified lactation consultant.

MountainView is recognized by WHO/UNICEF as a Baby Friendly Hospital for offering a high level of care for breastfeeding mothers and their babies.

The next class takes place Tuesday, June 9 in the Ben Woods Conference Room at MountainView Regional Medical Center.

Because of your generosity, we are able to serve more than 60 families in our community, and that number continues to grow. Your support provides hope, encouragement, and essential resources to families who need them most.
