A couple of weeks ago, we had another successful Antelope Camp! Great antelope hunt with combat vets and amazing volunteers to help with food and set up/take down of camp. Had a great time in the Snowy’s with some fishing as well. As always, thanks to our donors and participants.

Good morning LRAV family! Last week we participated in our 2nd annual archeological dig/excavation with Wyoming Archeology at Camp Guernsey. We had two of last year’s combat veteran participants return to volunteer…especially taking on cooking the wonderful meals for each day.

Huge shout out to Blake V Griffin and Wyoming National Guard for hosting, as well as Damian Kirkwood and David Ian Howe for helping at the dig site and the awesome flint knapping demonstration!

Thanks again to all of our donors for making this happen! We are already looking forward to next year’s dig.

We are back at it with another adventure!! We just finished up our first annual Black Hills Veterans Retreat at black_hills_mountain_lodge. This event is focused on showcasing the beauty and serenity of the Black Hills, as well as the fellowship of combat veterans. We had turkey hunting, trout fishing, excellent food, and spectacular views for days. Huge thanks to Lewis Realty for sponsoring the event and blackhillsfishingguide for getting our veterans out on the water catching some trout.

All of our board members and volunteers work for free, ensuring every dollar goes directly to supporting our veterans in the field. Hey all! We had a great event to celebrate Antelope season. We served 4 combat veterans with successful hunts. We are thankful for those whose land we are able to use for camping and hunting. This could not be done without them. Thank you always to our volunteers as well. We had a great time. And to all of our donors….we could NOT do this without you! We feed and give hydration to our deserving vets through these donations. And a huge shoutout to Trophyroom Taxidermy for taking care of the mounts for our vets. Be sure to check out their work!

Good day, LRAV friends! Just wanted to give everyone an update on our recent event. We had the opportunity to work with Wyoming Archeology to participate in a dig/excavation within Wyoming National Guard’s training center, Camp Guernsey. Our founder, one board member, and two combat veterans were able to be a part of this amazing experience.
Thank you so much to the Wyoming state archeologists and to the Wyoming Army National Guard. Huge thank you to all of our donors and supporters who allow for these adventures to take place!
