🤎💛Last week, we had the opportunity to tour the University of Wyoming's impressive new Residence Halls and Dining Center. 💛🤎

From bright, modern living spaces to a state-of-the-art dining facility, it's clear UW has made a major investment in the student experience. A big thank you to our hosts for the behind-the-scenes look at one of the university's newest additions to campus!

Last week, our community celebrated the official opening of the new Pilot Hill Trailhead, a project years in the making.

Rotarians have been part of this effort from the beginning, and we're especially proud of Tony Hoch, one of the original leaders who helped spearhead the project. We'd also like to recognize Keith Rittle, who served on the Pilot Hill Project Board, and Sarah Brown-Mathews, Executive Director of the Pilot Hill Project, for their leadership and dedication.

Pilot Hill is a great example of what can happen when passionate people in Laramie work together for the good of our community. Congratulations to everyone who helped make this vision a reality.

⚙️Last week, our Rotary Club celebrated one of our favorite annual traditions: the passing of the gavel.

After a year of dedicated leadership, Murray Schroeder concluded his term as Club President and officially passed the gavel to David Hansen. We sincerely thank Murray for his service and congratulate David as he begins his year as President.

We also recognized Sarah Brown-Mathews as our Rotarian of the Year. This honor reflects her outstanding commitment to our club and to "Service Above Self". It is a truly well-deserved recognition. Congratulations, Sarah!🏆

Taste of Laradise is almost here! This Saturday - downtown - 11-5.

Three years ago, the Rotary Clubs of Laramie created Taste of Laradise with a simple goal: bring a little extra foot traffic and revenue to our local businesses during a traditionally slower week of the year. Finals are over, summer has begun, and many families are traveling, so we wanted to give people a reason to get out, explore downtown, and support the businesses that make Laramie special.

What started as a simple idea has grown into an event that brings together local businesses, community organizations, sponsors, volunteers, and hundreds of participants.

Join us this Saturday, June 13, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in downtown Laramie. Enjoy a fun afternoon exploring businesses, discovering new favorites, and supporting the Downtown Clinic.
