🏈 Looking for a fun way to spend Saturday, September 12?
Come up to Laramie, support a great cause, and catch some college football! 💙💛
The Wyoming Down Syndrome Association’s 26th Annual Buddy Walk is happening that morning from 9 AM–12 PM at the Washington Park Bandshell. It’s a relaxed, family-friendly celebration with carnival games, snacks, live music, and plenty of fun while supporting an amazing cause. 💙
And then… keep the day going with football! 🤠🏈 The Wyoming Cowboys take on the Northern Colorado Bears at 2 PM at War Memorial Stadium. Registered Buddy Walk participants can get discounted game tickets for just $20 each!

Join us in celebrating the extraordinary lives of individuals with Down syndrome at the 26th Annual Wyoming Buddy Walk on Saturday, September 12 from 9am-12pm at the Washington Park Bandshell in Laramie, WY. Enjoy a variety of carnival games, carnival snacks, live music, and celebration of the extraordinary lives of people with Down syndrome!

Online registration closes on September 7th with registration available at the event. Register online by August 27th to guarantee your preferred shirt size!

Join families, educators, advocates, and professionals from across Wyoming for the Wyoming Down Syndrome Association’s 2026 Family Conference on Saturday, June 27, at the Best Western Downtown Casper Hotel.

The event will feature nationally recognized speakers from across the country with several educational sessions featuring topics on independence, education, waiver services, behavioral support strategies, and more. Respite care is available. The conference includes meals.

Registration is free and provided by the annual Wyoming Buddy Walk.

Sept. 19, 1943 – Jan. 2, 2026 Terry Irwin Cooper passed away at home in St. George, Utah, on January 2, 2026, following a battle with cancer.
