Join families, educators, advocates, and professionals from across Wyoming for the Wyoming Down Syndrome Association’s 2026 Family Conference on Saturday, June 27, at the Best Western Downtown Casper Hotel.

The event will feature nationally recognized speakers from across the country with several educational sessions featuring topics on independence, education, waiver services, behavioral support strategies, and more. Respite care is available. The conference includes meals.

Registration is free and provided by the annual Wyoming Buddy Walk.

Sept. 19, 1943 – Jan. 2, 2026 Terry Irwin Cooper passed away at home in St. George, Utah, on January 2, 2026, following a battle with cancer. She was born in Lovell on September 19, 1943, to Arneva and Harley Irwin. She attended the Lovell public school system for all 12 years, graduating in 1962....
