🗳️ IMPORTANT BALLOT REMINDER: The Pasco Schools Salary Referendum is the LAST item on the ballot, under “County Referendum.” It is NOT Amendment 3. These are two separate ballot questions!

📚 Pasco is surrounded by neighboring school districts that have referendum funding to support employee salaries — and another neighboring district has one on the ballot this November.
This graphic takes a closer look at what that means for Pasco’s ability to recruit and retain high-quality teachers and support staff. 👩‍🏫🍎
📊 Look at the salary comparisons. Without the current referendum supplement, Pasco salaries would become significantly less competitive with neighboring districts — districts competing for many of the same teachers and staff!
📉Without renewal, eligible Pasco employees would lose their referendum salary supplements — an estimated 12% reduction in salary on average.

Pasco County is issuing a local state of emergency in response to the ongoing prevention efforts for dengue fever. We encourage everyone to take preventative measures and refer to Pasco County Mosquito Control District and Florida Department of Health in Pasco County for more information on how to prevent this mosquito-borne illness.
