It’s a wonderful day at the farmers market!

Stop by for your local fix and get all the yummy things you need for your Festival week!

Plus we have Rise Up Arts Alliance with performances from their musical, Seusical Jr and the Fairfield County Health Department!

There’s also lots of food truck options - Son In Law Pizza, Hogs ‘N’ Hunnies BBQ, and L-City pop up coffee.

Hey, Lancaster! We heard it might be a late night 😜 We've got a few reasons to get out of bed on Saturday morning though... Right around 30 of your favorite farmers, bakers and local artisans!

Have fun at the Lancaster Festival ArtWalk tonight, but then head on down to the Lancaster Farmers Market tomorrow morning. Summer's not going to last forever, and neither will your seasonal favorites like sweet corn from Saum Family Farms and tomatoes from Schultz Valley Farms.

Summer is in full swing, and the Lancaster Farmers Market is the best place to savor all the flavors of the season!

The farmers market is every Saturday, rain or shine! Come visit us to stock up on all your summer favorites, like sweet corn and tomatoes, peaches and fresh flowers. You'll love the selection and you'll feel great supporting our small local farms and businesses.

🛻 Food Trucks: Wake up with a beverage from L-City Coffee +! This week, we'll also welcome Son In Law Pizza Company and Hogs’N’Hunnies BBQ, LLC with brunch options. Find the food trucks right next to the Double Edge Brewing Co. patio, just across Chestnut Street. The brewery opens at 9am, so you can grab a drink in a DORA cup and sip while you shop!

🎶 Live Music: The cast of Rise Up Arts Alliance's upcoming Penguin Project production Seussical Jr. will be with us perform live and promote their show.

📚 Storytime: Families, join us for Storytime with the Fairfield County District Library at 9:30am.

🏥 Community Tent: The Fairfield County Health Department will bring all kinds of free health resources, including kids' bike helmets, healthy brain activities, info about WIC, back-to-school vaccines and more!

🛒 Keller Market House: Make sure to step inside our brick and mortal local foods store up on the corner for more local shopping! Open 7 days a week all year long, you'll find many of your farmers market favorites plus so much more.

🌟 It's Kids' Day! Families, come visit us this Saturday morning. You'll enjoy a fun morning full of free activities and great food. Our community has come together to provide a great experience for our youngest local eaters!

Special guests with free kids' activities will include:

• AHA! A Hands-On Adventure, A Children's Museum
• Lancaster-Fairfield Community Action Agency's Early Childhood Education
• Squirrel Scout Outdoor School
• Lancaster Montessori School

🧘‍♀️ 10:30am for Mini Yoga Adventures with Explore Me A Story - Mindful Nature Preschool(ages 5 and under)

🌱 We'll also be giving away our "Seed Money" Kids' Coupons so that kids can shop for free! Families with children ages 5 - 12, visit our Market Tent to learn more and sign up. While supplies last, each child will receive $10 worth of Seed Money to shop the market. This program is made possible through the generosity of the Buckeye Automotive Family of Lancaster as well as many individual donors.

What's the best part about Kids Day at the Lancaster Farmers Market?

🌱 Kids can shop the market for free with our Seed Money Program!

This Saturday from 8:30am to noon, youth ages 5-12 will receive $10 worth of Seed Money Kids' Coupons. Families can then explore the market together while kids shop with our vendors and learn about local food and how to budget their money.

This program is generously supported by the Buckeye Automotive Family of Lancaster. A big thank you to them for helping us to reach more families with this program!

We're also grateful to all the individuals who have contributed, including some of our own board members - Kate Smiley, David Scheffler & Joshua Bruce. Thank you!

You can contribute, too! Make a donation with cash at the Lancaster Farmers Market or at the Keller Market House. Or donate online to help us to cultivate a love of local in the next generation. (see link in comments)

For each $10 donated, another child can participate!

How does it work?

▶️ Seed Money Kids' Coupons will be available on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last, on July 11th & August 8th.

▶️ One packet per visiting child ages 5-12.

▶️ Accompanying parent or guardian must sign in at the Market Tent.

▶️ Coupons expire at the end of the farmers market season.

Kids' Day is Coming! Join us this Saturday, July 11th for Kids Day at the Lancaster Farmers Market from 8:30am until noon.

It's a great opportunity for families to enjoy the farmers market with lots of free special activities for kids!

Plus, we'll do our first 'Seed Money' Kids' Coupon Giveaway of the summer. Youth ages 5-12 will receive $10 worth of Seed Money coupons for free. Families can then explore the market together while kids shop with our vendors and learn about local food.
